To access the module, go to Managment > Events.
Click on the button with the “+” icon.
Select New event and then Common event or select Common directly.
Choose whether the event will be for the entire organization or specific team.
You can also restrict it to specific subgroups if you have them created.
Event types
Create and set up custom event types suitable for your organization. These will be assigned to individual events, which will behave according to the parameters set in each type.
Event Type – select from the types created under Settings > Events > Event Types.
The event type also determines whether attendance will be tracked for a general event.
Title – The name of the event displayed to interested participants.
Short Description – A space for basic information visible in the Member Section without needing to open the event details.
Description for Public Screens – When using the Public Screens feature, you can add a description of the event to be displayed on the public screen.
Start and End (date and time) – The date and time when the event begins and ends.

Every week
Every two weeks (= once every 14 days)
Every month (= once a month)
Until – Select the date of the last event in the recurrence series.
Location
Select a location pre-created in the section Management > Locations.
After checking Fill in the location manually, you can enter any custom location.
Description – A space for more detailed information about the event.
Set the capacity (unlimited or a specific number with the number of substitutes).
Choose the type of bonus that members will receive for participation:
None
Per participation – The amount is not influenced by the event duration.
Per hour – The final amount is calculated based on the event duration.
When selecting "per participation" or "per hour," you must choose the Member account to which the bonus will be credited after the event ends and participation is confirmed.
Then, enter the Bonus amount (in crowns / points – depending on the settings of the Member account).
Determine whether a fee will be required:
None
Per participation
When selecting "per participation," you need to specify the Member account from which the fee will be deducted.
Then, enter the Amount.
Check the option Automatically deduct the fee from the member account upon confirming participation if you want to automate this action. Otherwise, the fee will be confirmed manually after the event ends.
Participant List Visibility for Members (does not apply to team admins – they always see excused members along with the excuses):
No – Regular members will not see who is attending the event and who is not.
Yes, without excuses notes– Members will see who is attending the event and who is not, but will not see the reasons for non-attendance.
Yes, including excuses notes – Members will see who is attending the event and who is not, and for excused members, they will also see the reason.
Allow comments for this event – When checked, members can add comments to the event.
Show on website – If you're using the EOS web, the event can also be displayed on the website.
Automatic reward for team manager/coach – The reward for the team manager will be automatically credited when attendance is saved. Otherwise, a manual confirmation of the reward is required. The reward amount is set in the group composition or roster.
Team staff
The module allows defining various roles for members of the implementation team, which can then be assigned to members in the Rosters / Team Composition module.
Set Reminders Before the Event – How long before the event starts members will be reminded via notification:
Don´t remind anyone
Participants and those who didn´t say – A reminder notification will be sent to all who have confirmed attendance, as well as to those for whom the event is intended but have not yet confirmed their participation.

Choose whether to Send a notification to members about the new event – This notification will be sent as soon as the event is created or activated (if you wish to activate it later).
When editing the event, you can select whether you want to send a notification about the event change – this will be sent to everyone affected by the event (i.e., all registered or non-responding participants).
Complete the process by clicking Create.
Go to Management > Events, where you will find an overview of all events with the option to filter, manage exports, and more. You can explore all options in a separate article.
Event overviews
You can view different event reports in the platform depending on what you are currently interested in. You can also search or filter them.
By clicking on the event name, you will access its detail page with all the information in one place.
In the Individual Event Occurrences block, you will find a list of all upcoming events in the series.
By clicking Edit in the Attachments block or on the page, click More > Attachments to add attachments to the event – either as an uploaded file or a document already stored in the platform. The attachment will then be available for download to all interested participants.
After clicking the context menu (three dots) next to an individual event, the following actions are available:
Participants – Displays the participants.
Copy Event – For quickly creating a new event similar to the current one.
Edit – Allows you to edit any aspect of the event, with the option to Send a notification to members about the event change.
Change History – If the member has the appropriate permissions, they can view all changes made to the event.
Convert to a different type of event
Cancel – If cancellation reasons are set in Settings, you need to select one. You can also choose to send a notification about the canceled event to all affected members.

Notifikace na události
Platforma EOS zasílá všem členům řadu užitečných notifikací – včetně těch týkajících se událostí. Notifikace chodí do mobilní appky, potažmo do e-mailu.

Delete
Completely: Deletes the entire event, including participants.
Including all following instances: In the case of a recurring event, all future occurrences of the event will also be deleted.
Event types

Change History: Users with access to the Logs module can view the history of all changes made to any record.
