To access the module, go to Managment > Settings > Events > Event Types.
Click the button with the "+" icon in the top right corner of the screen.
In the dialog box that appears, type a name for the new event type.
Use the keyword search box for Icon to find and select the icon that fits the event type and will appear in the event header.
For the color, click in the box to choose the background color of your icon. After selecting it, you will see a preview. The color of the event type is also important because events will have this color in calendars.
Set the Show on dashboard option - this is how and when events will be displayed to members on the My Overview screen.
Always - show all events on the overview at once, because it is assumed that members of the teams for which the event is intended are expected to participate.
By participation - if you want members to see events of this type on their overview and on their calendar only after they have signed up for the event (via a specific wall).
Check Event with attendance recorded if you want to track attendance for events with this type of members. For such events, the attendance will be saved by the coach / event administrator, the attendance statistics from these events will then be available for the team. If attendance tracking is enabled, this type of event will not be selectable for e-applications, nominations and organizing events.
If attendance tracking is checked, you can also use the Require excuse note to select whether members will be required to enter a reason for non-attendance if they select negative attendance for the event.
Also, choose how to view participation - how the number of participants will be displayed in the member section on the individual event tab. You can see at a glance the number of registered members (confirmed members), the number of excused members or the expected attendance (all invited minus excused members).
Event program – for this type of event it will be possible to enter its content textually. Select who can fill in the filling.

Change of participation notifications - notifying team administrators when a regular member changes their participation status for an event
no notifications - default setting, no notifications are sent
Notify for every change - notification for every change in participation
List of participants in calendars - If you check the option Show list of participants in calendars, the member and team calendars in the member section, the Planning Calendar and the subscribed calendar (ical) will show the set number of participants with positive participation.
Set the maximum number of participants displayed in the calendar
Set whether you want participants to be sorted alphabetically or by the time of participation
Default settings for new events - set the default length of events you will create under this event type and the default notification time before the event.
Then press OK to create the event type.
Sorting: you can sort the event types in the list using drag-and-drop. Grab the left edge of the event type row and move it to the desired location in the table.
Edit: Event type records can be edited at any time when a member has permission to do so.
Delete: Event type records can only be deleted if the type is not yet assigned to an event.
Activity: in the list of created event types, you can choose whether the type is active and will therefore be displayed in the event options for selection.
Permissions: Permissions to the Settings and Events modules.
Change History: Users with access to the Logs module can view a history of all changes made to any record.
