The signups categories are useful if you're creating a large number of diverse applications and want to make the offering more organized. Applicants can then have a directory in the application catalog, from which they select whether they are interested in, for example, camps, seminars, or other events.
You can access the module in the section Management > Settings > Signups > Categories.
Click the button “+“.
Enter the name of the new category (e.g., camps, seminars, courses).
Choose whether the category should be public available or only for members.
You can select an icon and color for the category that will appear in the signups catalog.
You can add an internal note for the new category.
After creating a category, click on it in the overview.
Select the Create Subcategory option.
Choose a name (e.g., in the 'Camps' category, you could have: spring, summer, winter).
In the category overview, you can see basic information about each category, edit its internal note, or activate it.
By clicking on the context menu (3 dots) or right-clicking, you can access the details of the category, edit it, view the change history of the item, or remove it.
Under the button More, you can find the option to view removed categories and restore them.
You can assign an application to a category when creating the application or during its detailed configuration.
