Signup categories are useful if you create a larger number of varied signups and want to make the offer clearer. Those interested can then first have a directory in the signup catalogue from which they choose whether they are interested in, for example, your day camps, seminars or other events.
You can find the module in Management > Settings > Signups > Categories.
Click the “+” button.
Enter the name of the new category (e.g. day camps, camps, seminars, courses).
Choose whether the category should be available publicly or only to members.
You can select an icon and a colour for the category, which are then displayed in the signup catalogue.
You can add an internal note to the new category.
After you create the category, click on it in the overview.
Select the Create subcategory option.
Choose a name (e.g. in the day camps category you can have: spring, summer, winter).
In the category overview you can see the basic information about each category, edit its internal note or activate it.
After you click the context menu (3 dots) or right-click, you have the option to click through to the category detail, edit it, view the item’s change history or remove it.
Under the More button you will find the option to display removed categories and restore them.
You can assign a signup to a category when you create the signup or during its more detailed setup.
Creating a signup and overview
With the sign-ups, anyone can sign up for your event, whether they are a member of your organisation (platform) or a member of the public. Create signups with a few steps and completely custom forms.
Signup settings and creating steps
After creating the application, it’s necessary to set its details and create individual steps that the applicants will fill out.
To manage signup categories, permission is required in the Settings and Signups modules.
