You can access the module in Management > Settings > Place categories.
In the top right corner of the screen, click the button with the “+” icon.
In the dialog that appears, enter the name of the new place category.
You can add a description to the category.
Tick Visible on the map in the member zone, if you want the category to be shown on the Place map directly in the member zone.
Then press the OK button to create the new category.
Sorting categories: You can sort place categories in the list using drag-and-drop. Grab the left edge of the row with the place category and move it to the desired place in the table.
Editing and deleting: Place category records can be edited or deleted at any time. If deleted, the category is unassigned from all places.
Category visibility on the map: In the category list, simply use the toggle to turn the display of the given category on the map in the member zone on or off.
Managing banner positions requires permission in the Settings and Place categories modules.
