You can access the module in Management > Settings > Banner positions.
Thanks to the Banners module you can promote, for example, your partners or events through graphic banners in predefined positions on the walls of the Member zone. You can choose which banners will be shown on which walls and also monitor their performance.
You can create 3 types:
wide – desktop: A position for wide-format banners with a maximum image size of 1200x300 pixels, placed at the top of the club/organization wall as well as team/group walls. It is shown only on computers and devices with a larger screen.
wide – mobile: A position for wide-format banners with a maximum image size of 800x400 pixels, placed at the top of the club/organization wall as well as team/group walls. It is shown only on mobile phones.
square: A position below the calendar with events on the club/organization wall as well as team/group walls. Maximum image size 670x670 pixels.
In the right part of the screen, for the given type click the button with the + icon. If you do not have any banner position created yet, the Add new button will be shown.
In the dialog that appears, select or drag the JPG or PNG file you want to use for the given banner position.
Enter a Title, which you use to name the banner.
You can also enter a URL, if the banner should link to a website, or for example to another page of the EOS platform (e.g. a banner leading to an e-application for your event).
If you enter a URL, set how the click should behave:
Default – the page opens in the same window.
New window – after clicking the banner, the page is shown in a new window.
Tick the Active field, if you want to activate the given banner in the position. It will then start being shown to members immediately.
Set the advanced display options:
Display from – the date and time from which the banner starts being shown.
Display until – the date and time until which the banner will be shown.
Click limit – the banner stops being shown once the number of clicks is reached
Impression limit – the banner stops being shown once the number of impressions is reached
Organizational unit – select which organizational unit the banner will be available for
Team restriction – if you want to limit the teams on whose walls the banner will appear, select them. If you do not select any, the banner will be shown on all walls.
Press the OK button to create the new banner.
Editing and deleting: Banner position records can be edited or deleted at any time if the member has permission to do so.
Managing banner positions requires permission in the Banners module.
