You can access the module in Management > Settings > Organizational units.
Larger organizations can be divided into organizational units, into which teams can then be grouped or members filtered in the member database. For Sokol, for example, you can create the organizational unit Basketball (and other units for other sections), assign the individual basketball teams created to the relevant unit, and then easily filter the basketball members belonging to these teams in the database using the “Organizational units” filter. You can also filter teams and walls by units on the Member zone > All walls.
Separate communication walls can also be created for organizational units, so you can communicate in one place with all members belonging to teams under the given unit – for example the communication wall “Basketball”. Events can also be created for units.
With the paid “Extended permissions” feature, organizational units gain many more functions. The organization can also be divided by them in terms of permissions and access of individual members. For example, the head of the handball section then manages members, payments, teams, requests and so on only for members belonging to the handball unit and does not see data from other units. The permissions of members for various units can be combined freely if needed, so practically any combination can be set.
In the top right corner of the screen, click the button with the “+” icon.
In the dialog that appears, enter the name of the new organizational unit.
If you want the organizational unit to be shown to new members in the registration form, tick Show in the registration form. The member can then choose which unit they are registering for.
Then press the OK button to create the organizational unit.
Sorting organizational units: You can sort organizational units in the list using drag-and-drop. Grab the left edge of the row with the organizational unit and move it to the desired place in the table.
Editing and deleting: Organizational units can be edited or deleted at any time if the user has permission to do so. A deleted organizational unit is unassigned from the teams that belonged to it.
Management permission: Managing organizational units requires permission in the Settings and Teams modules.
Change history: Users with access to the Logs module can view the history of all changes made in any record.
