If a member uses the mobile app, they receive an instant notification there. If they do not read it in the app within 4 hours, it is also sent by e-mail. If a member does not use the app or has not been logged in to it in the last two weeks, the notification is sent by e-mail immediately. Some notifications, however, are not sent by e-mail at all, which is why it is best to use the mobile app.
How notifications work in general
The EOS Platform sends all members a range of useful notifications – about payments, events, posts on walls and so on. These arrive in the mobile app, or by e-mail.
Below is a table of all implemented notifications concerning payments – including information on whether the given notification is also sent by e-mail if the member does not open it in the app.
