# Notifications for posts and comments

The EOS Platform sends all members a range of useful notifications – including those concerning messages, posts and comments. Notifications arrive in the mobile app, or by e-mail.

## **How notifications for posts and comments work**

If a member uses the mobile app, they receive an instant notification there. If they do not read it in the app within 4 hours, it is also sent by e-mail. If a member does not use the app or has not been logged in to it in the last two weeks, the notification is sent by e-mail immediately. Some notifications, however, are not sent by e-mail at all, which is why it is best to use the mobile app.

How notifications work in general

The EOS Platform sends all members a range of useful notifications – about payments, events, posts on walls and so on. These arrive in the mobile app, or by e-mail.

## **Notification overview**

Below is a table of all implemented notifications concerning communication on walls and events – including information on whether the given notification is also sent by e-mail if the member does not open it in the app.

> **Info:** If a team/group manager comments on a post, all members of the given team always receive a notification about the comment.

> **Info:** In the settings of the given team you can set whether regular members will be able to add posts to the wall at all, and whether notifications will be sent for them. It is therefore possible to set that only the management can add posts and members can only comment on them.

> **Success:** When a regular member adds a post to the wall without turning notifications on (or when it is not allowed in the team settings), a notification about the post is sent to the coaching staff so that they have an overview of what is happening in their team. They can then send notifications manually if needed.
