# Event places

Create a catalogue of your own places, which you can then assign to events. You can also group places into categories.

## **Module location**

You can access the module in **Management > Places**.

## Using Places

Places, for which a map is also loaded based on the address, can be assigned to all events so that participants know where they take place. From the mobile app, for example, you can click through from the event place straight into navigation. Places can also be grouped into categories.

[

Place categories

Sort places into categories according to your needs. You can then browse the individual categories and their places on a map directly in the member zone.

In the Member zone you can then display the Place map, where places can also be filtered by category.

## **Creating a new place**

- Click the button with the “**+**” icon.

- Write the **Name** of the place.

- Then you can select a Place category, if you have created at least one in the settings.

- Select the country and search for the address by starting to type. Addresses are loaded from the national address database RÚIAN. If you cannot find the address, tick **I cannot find the address – fill in manually**. The place will be shown on the map and the longitude and latitude will be recorded.

- You can also optionally enter the **E-mail**, **Phone**, **Website** and **Description** of the place, which will be shown to members for it.

- You can also add an **Internal note** to the place for management purposes.

- If you have the EOS website connected to the platform, the places you create can be shown on it – use the **Show on the website** field to select whether the place should be synchronized to the website.

- With the **Save** button, create the new place.

- After saving you can click through to the new place and in the place detail also **Upload an image.** It will then be shown for the place both in the member zone and mobile app and on the website, if you have the place synchronized with the EOS website.

## **Place detail and further configuration**

- Click through to the place you created and its detail is shown with the option to **Edit**.

- In the detail you can **upload a photo** of the place, which will be shown for the place

- In the **Place parts** block you can create a subset of the place – for example individual pitches (parts) of the whole complex (place), or similarly rooms of a building where your events take place.

    - Click **Create new place part.**

    - Fill in the **Name** and **Description.**

    - Click **Save.**

    - Click through to the place part you created and click **Edit**, where you finish setting up the part in the same way as a classic place.

        > **Info:** A place can be divided into up to 3 levels – Place > place part > part of a place part. These can then be assigned to individual events.

## **Place list and other actions**

- Right-click the place, or the context menu **(3 dots)** and the following options are shown:

    - **Consent detail**

    - **Edit**

    - **Change history** – a list and details of all changes and edits of the given item

    - **Remove** – the place is moved to **Removed places**, from where it can be restored at any time
