You can access the module in Management > Places.
Places, for which a map is also loaded based on the address, can be assigned to all events so that participants know where they take place. From the mobile app, for example, you can click through from the event place straight into navigation. Places can also be grouped into categories.
Place categories
Sort places into categories according to your needs. You can then browse the individual categories and their places on a map directly in the member zone.
In the Member zone you can then display the Place map, where places can also be filtered by category.
Click the button with the “+” icon.
Write the Name of the place.
Then you can select a Place category, if you have created at least one in the settings.
Select the country and search for the address by starting to type. Addresses are loaded from the national address database RÚIAN. If you cannot find the address, tick I cannot find the address – fill in manually. The place will be shown on the map and the longitude and latitude will be recorded.
You can also optionally enter the E-mail, Phone, Website and Description of the place, which will be shown to members for it.
You can also add an Internal note to the place for management purposes.
If you have the EOS website connected to the platform, the places you create can be shown on it – use the Show on the website field to select whether the place should be synchronized to the website.
With the Save button, create the new place.
After saving you can click through to the new place and in the place detail also Upload an image. It will then be shown for the place both in the member zone and mobile app and on the website, if you have the place synchronized with the EOS website.
Click through to the place you created and its detail is shown with the option to Edit.

In the Place parts block you can create a subset of the place – for example individual pitches (parts) of the whole complex (place), or similarly rooms of a building where your events take place.
Click Create new place part.
Fill in the Name and Description.
Click Save.
Click through to the place part you created and click Edit, where you finish setting up the part in the same way as a classic place.
The following actions are possible in the place list:
Sorting places: You can sort places in the list using drag-and-drop. Grab the left edge of the row with the place and move it to the desired place in the table.
Place preview: Click the preview eye and the place details are shown including the photo and other actions including a link to Google Maps.
Right-click the place, or the context menu (3 dots) and the following options are shown:
Consent detail
Edit
Change history – a list and details of all changes and edits of the given item
Remove – the place is moved to Removed places, from where it can be restored at any time
Click More and in the menu you will see:
Removed places – click Restore to restore the place

Management permission: Managing places requires write permission for the Places module. Managing categories additionally requires permission for the Settings module.
Change history: Users with access to the Logs module can view the history of all changes made in any record.
