# Import Czech Volleyball Association

For Czech Volleyball, events can be imported directly from the association system via API. The event schedule then updates itself regularly according to the connected source.

## **Module location**

- Go to **Management > Events > Event imports.**

## Creating an import

- you choose via **“+”** Source: Czech Volleyball Association.

- Name – you choose the name yourself.

- Leave **Active ticked**

- **Username and password** – you need to obtain it from the association and only then continue.

    > **Warning:** For 2026, the Czech Volleyball Association is preparing an entirely new information system that will simplify event imports and everything will be possible to connect without the association’s involvement. At the moment this feature is therefore unavailable unless you have access to the VIS API from previous years. A connection to the VIS 3.0 system API is not yet available from the association. We will inform you when this changes.

- What is pulled in

    - match start = event start

    - competition round = written into the event name

    - competition name and phase, link to the competition detail, link to the home and away team detail, note and result = written into the event description

    - match venue = event venue and into the description

## Working with imported events

After connecting, on the **Event imports** screen you see a list of the imports you have created.

### Search, displayed columns, custom views

- Thanks to the **Search** row you can find any event by its name.

- The **Displayed columns** button shows only selected columns, with the option to sort them freely. You can add these:

    - **Name** of the import you chose

    - **Import service**: Czech Volleyball Association

    - **Status** (according to the data EOS obtains from the association):

        - **OK** – the last import went well

        - **In progress** – the import is currently running

        - **Failed** – the last import was not successful

        - **Not working** – the import failed several times in a row (the last successful import was at least three days ago)

        - **Waiting** – the import is queued for processing but is not running yet

        - **Did not finish** – the import was terminated abnormally

        - **Ended** – the data has expired

    - **Last update** – the date and time of the last update

    - **Next update** – the date and time of the next update (if available from the association)

    - **Active** – yes/no

    - **Valid until** – the date and time until which the connection is valid

    - **Date created**

    - **Date deleted**

    - **ID** – the identification number of the import

    - **Event type** – the event type you selected in EOS for the imported events

    [

    Event types

Create and set up custom event types suitable for your organization. These will be assigned to individual events, which will behave according to the parameters set in each type.

    - **Last change** – the date of the last change

    - **Last error** – the date of the last error

- By clicking **the Default view button** you can work with **views** – save a filtered view for use next time or manage previously saved views.

    > **Success:** Choose any columns you use regularly, save a view that you can load within a few seconds at any time and you do not have to select the columns manually.

### Further work with imports

- Right-click the import or the context menu (**three dots**) and you get the options:

    - **Edit** the import

    - **Import now** – manual start of the current event import from the given source

    - **Delete** – irreversibly deletes the configured event import

You then work with imported events in the same way as with events created manually in the platform. You can edit them, copy them, add attachments to them and so on. If you had the events imported as an **Event type** _WITHOUT attendance tracking_, you can **Convert to a nomination**, **Convert to an e-application** or **Convert to organizing**. Your members will find them in their calendars and can sign up for them.

Converting and copying events

General events without attendance can be converted in EOS to any other kind of event. So you can turn a general event into a nomination, for example. Another useful option is copying events.
