# Store settings

This section is used for the global settings of how the store behaves across the whole organization – from store availability, languages and currencies, through notifications and stock, to texts, tags and terms and conditions.

## **Module location**

**Management > Settings > Store > Store settings**

## **Section overview**

The store settings are divided into four main tabs:

- **Basic settings** – store behaviour, availability, languages, currencies, notifications

- **Tags** – automatic product tags and their colours

- **Texts** – store names and information texts

- **Terms and conditions** – legal texts valid for purchases in the store

All settings apply to **the whole organization**. If you have purchased Extended permissions, these settings can be made different for each Organizational unit.

## **Basic settings**

### **Store status**

- **On** \- the store is available (according to the settings below only to members, only to the public, or to both members and the public)

- **Off** - the store is not available or findable, the link directs to the platform login

- **Maintenance mode** - visitors to the store link are shown a maintenance screen with the text you set.

### **Availability**

- Determines who can see and use the store:

    - members only (they find the store in the platform in the member zone and in the mobile application)

    - the public only (the store is available to them via a link)

    - members and the public

### **Age restriction**

- An optional restriction that prevents orders from members under the specified age

If the restriction is active:

- the affected accounts cannot create orders

- they do not receive notifications

- they do not see the history of orders created by a representative

### **Gift mode**

- If enabled, it allows a representative to hide the order from the member (typically when the representative is buying a gift).

### **Allow VAT**

- Determines whether the store works with VAT

### **Cover image**

- The store’s introductory image

- Recommended resolution: **1200×300 px**

## **New orders**

### **Notifications**

- Settings for who is sent notifications about new orders

- Notifications can only be sent to members with access to the Store module (at least read).

### **E-mail**

- The option to add additional e-mail addresses for sending notifications about new orders, including to people outside the EOS platform

### **Default order status**

- Determines the status a newly created order is automatically created in (e.g. “New”)

## **Default values**

### **Language**

- **The default language of the store** (e.g. Czech)

- **Additional languages** that will be available in the store

### **Currency**

- **The default currency** (e.g. CZK)

- Optionally additional currencies

### **Available countries**

## **Stock**

### **Maximum quantity shown as in stock**

- Determines the maximum number of units of a product shown as available in stock.

- Used to limit the display of exact stock levels.

## **Tags**

Tags are used to visually mark products in the catalogue.

### **New**

- Setting the number of days from adding a product during which it is automatically marked with the **New** tag.

### **Tag colours**

Each tag type has its own colour, which you can change freely:

- **New**

- **Sale**

- **Recommended**

- **Customization**

- **External product**

The colours serve only for visual orientation in the catalogue.

## **Texts**

Texts can be formatted using the editor (bold, links and so on).

### **Store name**

- The internal and public name of the store

### **Welcome text**

- Text shown to users when entering an active store

### **Maintenance mode**

## **Terms and conditions**

Here you set the **terms and conditions valid for the whole store** (in the case of purchasing the Extended permissions module, for the store of the given Organizational unit).

- The terms and conditions can be turned on (tick: **Active**) or off.

- The text can be fully edited using the editor.

- The terms are shown to customers when purchasing.

- They should contain, for example:

    - conclusion of the contract

    - prices and payments

    - delivery of goods

    - withdrawal from the contract

    - complaints

    - protection of personal data

## **Recommendations**

- Before launching the store, always check:

    - availability (members / public)

    - the default language and currency

    - correctly set terms and conditions

- We recommend filling in the maintenance mode text even if the store is active – for future use.

These settings form the basis of how the store works. Specific products, categories, prices and stock are set in other parts of the Store module.

## Permissions and access

Managing the Store requires permission for the modules:

- **Store**

- **Settings** (depending on your role in the organization)
