You can access the module in Management > Settings > Members > Representative types.
On the first screen you see a list of all representative types.
In the free basic version there is one default representative type available.
In the paid version you can create and configure any number of custom representative types.
For editing, in Management > Settings > Members > Representative types right-click and choose Edit).
Add-on modules and services
The price of the EOS Platform depends on the number of active members in your organization, and possibly on the additional features and services you purchase.
In this section you set the basic parameters of the specific representative type.
Name – the name of the representative type (e.g. Parent, Legal guardian).
Displayed name – the text shown to users in the interface.
Description – an internal note for platform administrators.
Active – determines whether the representative type is available for use.
This section determines which data is mandatory for a representative.
Phone – choose whether it is required, optional, or off.
The use of individual representative types is set for the specific member type in Management > Settings > Member types > (select type) → Representatives.
Each member type can have defined which representative types belong to it and in what number.
Member types
A module that allows you to set the parameters tracked for members and to adapt how the membership base works to the needs of the organization. There is also the option to set the sensitivity/visibility of individual member data items.
In Management > Settings > Members > Representative types go to the representative type detail by clicking its name (or right-click > Show).
Click the Custom fields tab.
Select the custom field for which you can set, for the given representative type:
Sensitivity of this data
Whether it will be shown directly to the member
Whether it will be shown in the registration of a new member
Whether it will be shown in the regular data check
Custom fields are also created and defined in the settings.
Custom fields
Create different types of custom fields to record and manage any additional information about members or their representatives. You can add custom fields to both the members/representatives and to the new member registration form.
Managing Representative types requires permission in the Settings and Members modules.
Users without access to Settings cannot create new representative types or change their configuration.
