Member import
Bulk import of members is one of the first steps after acquiring the EOS platform. It is also useful at any time later, however, when you need to easily add several members to the database at once.
Imported members are shown in a table and matched to your standard member database in EOS automatically based on a matching national ID number. However, they can also be linked manually, the link can be removed again, or the member record can be deleted entirely:
Right-click the row with the member (or the context menu – three dots).
Link to member (if it does not have an automatic link)
Remove link to member (if it already has a link)
Delete – deletes the record entirely
In the list of imported members you see columns with the relevant data (depending on the type of imported database).
You can search the data and sort it by columns.
After clicking the "+" at the beginning of each row, a further list of additional data from the database unfolds, which is not shown in the columns.
The names of linked members automatically become a link. After clicking it, the classic preview of the member’s data from EOS is shown – so you see data from the external database and from EOS on one screen.
Management permission: Managing the External database section requires write permission for the Members module.
