You can access the module in Management > Settings > Events > Attendance definitions.
In the top right corner of the screen, click the button with the “+” icon.
In the dialog that appears, enter the name of the new attendance definition.
In the Attendance field, choose how this attendance type should be counted in attendance statistics:
Attended – the member’s attendance is counted positively in the statistics.
Did not attend – the member’s attendance is counted negatively in the statistics.
Not counted – the member’s attendance is not counted in the attendance statistics at all.
Then choose from the offered options the icon that will be shown when selecting attendance for an event.
Tick Team managers only, if you want this option not to be available to regular members when selecting their attendance. The option will only be available to coaches / event managers when checking and saving attendance.
Then press the OK button to create the attendance definition.
Sorting: You can sort attendance definitions in the list using drag-and-drop. Grab the left edge of the row with the attendance definition and move it to the desired place in the table.
Default definition: Any definition can be edited or set as the default. The member must of course have permission for this. When you choose the default attendance definition “yes”, this positive attendance will be shown when saving attendance for all members who have not expressed their attendance. If you want the default state for members who have not responded to be that they are not attending, set “no” as the default definition (or another negative definition you have created).
Editing, deleting: Attendance definition records can be deleted at any time.
Management permission: Managing attendance definitions requires permission in the Settings and Events modules.
